Lustre:
Compounds made up of precious metals are applied in very thin layers to glass or ceramic either by dipping, spraying, brushing or silk-screening. The reflections and interferences form decor layers that shimmer in all the colours of the rainbow. They can also be further structured by adding marbling, crackling or run-off solutions. The products must be tempered at 560 to 800 °C.
