The Rastal Deco Center 2000 is one of the most modern, fully-automated
manufacturing facilities for decorated glassware in the world. In integrated finishing and
kiln lines, glassware is efficiently decorated and fired for durability. On unwrapping
tables and conveyor belts with a number of rotational devices, the objects are fed into
the printing machines at a perfect alignment. About 75% of a days production runs
over 6 to 8 colour instant plate machines with in-line rimming units and base presses
including semi-automatic kiln loading and further on-line right through to packaging.
Using the automatic conveyor tables on the machines, the belts leading to
the computer-controlled kiln aggregates, the automated positioning devices as well as the
on-line rotational, belt/line and flat printing stations, excellent decoration quality
within narrow tolerances can be produced under the most modern and efficient conditions. |
Rastal
has eight of the most modern printing machines, among them the fastest 8-colour automatic
in the world. The machine features vacuum-aided object attachment. This is a prerequisite
for the highest decoration quality, particularly when applying very demanding decors. On
downline gold rimming units, which were developed exclusively for Rastal by the machine
manufacturer Kammann, valuable and resistant precious metal rims are applied by roller in
uniform quality.

The Ballsfulland 1500 G, probably the most modern instant machine in the world, enables
Rastals decor specialists to decorate objects even if they are not rotationally
symmetrical, meaning we can print around corners. In addition, all six presses have
longitudinal ductors so that flat printing is also possible. Optical registering makes it
possible to recognise structures on the object, but also to properly position
pre-decorated glass. The number of prints on the Ballsfulland 1500 G is practically
limitless.
